About The Annex
The Annex Sociology Podcast is a podcast that features and speaks to academic sociologists. We talk to sociologists from across the world about current research, disciplinary politics, teaching and advisement, writing and publishing, and higher education administration.
This project serves as: (1) an open-access occupation-focused media outlet for sociologists, (2) a Lab in which Queens College students are able to learn and practice content creation, creative project management, and other job-relevant tasks, and (3) a field site in a study that seeks to understand the workings of Web 2.0 mass communications platforms and their effect on society.
