A second interview with Dr. Ernesto Castañeda, @drernestocast.bsky.socialProfessor of Sociology and Director of the Center for Latin American and Latino Studies at American University in Washington, DC. Castañeda is an expert on migration, health disparities, social movements, and urban sociology. Castañeda is joined by his coauthor, Daniel Jenks, @jenksd.bsky.sociala graduate student in the department of sociology at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2024, they published Reunited: Family Reunification and Central American Youth Migration with Russell Sage Foundation.
