This week, The Annex sits down with  Christine Percheski of Northwestern University to discuss her recent research on the dissolution of marriages and cohabitation unions among parents.  Christine and her colleague, Jess M. Meyer, recently co-published two articles on the topic.  The first is a 2017 article in PLOS One, “Health behaviors and union dissolution among parents of young children: Differences by marital status”.  More recently, the two published “Health and Union Dissolution among Parenting Couples: Differences by Gender and Marital Status” in the Journal of Health and Social Behavior.  Also, the gang discusses gene-edited babies, grad school mental health problems, and countries’ failure to meet carbon-cutting goals.
