Political campaigns are critical to American governance and democracy, but we often do not consider how campaigns and the people who run them influence elections and policy.

We will discuss Prof. Laurison’s firsthand observations in studying campaigns and meeting campaign professionals, and what they tell us about the inner workings of political campaigns.
